Yoga Therapy Experience
I have had the privilege to work with 160 private clients guiding them through 1,853+ hours of gentle asana, pranayama, mudra, chanting, yoga nidra, and restorative yoga. I have found that anyone can benefit from a compassionate and grounded approach to the healing practice of yoga. My main goal with my private clients is to give them the tools and understanding necessary to carry what they learned during our sessions into a dedicated home practice.

In 2011, I began research on the effects of yoga and the well-being of cancer survivors (60 hours).

Assistantships
Since 2006 I have assisted Piedmont Yoga Community's Yoga for People with Disabilities program both at Piedmont Yoga Studio and the Cerebral Palsy Center. In these classes we see people with a variety of physical challenges and the therapeutic aspects of yoga play an important role in how both the students are assisted in their practice (854 hours).
