In autumn we transition from the heat and activity of summer toward the shorter days of fall. This is a Vata-predominant season, calling for grounding asana, nourishing mudras, and calming pranayama. It is also a great time to draw awareness inward to focus on the deeper philosophy of yoga and how it helps us through the transitions of our year and our lives. The Yoga Nidra for the Kleshas meditations will help you overcome the five spiritual obstacles that keep the mind distracted.

Join me in this 3-week course where I will guide you through daily yoga video practices that will ease you during the transition-filled autumn season. These include four variations of the Sun Salutation (reclining, seated, kneeling, and standing with a chair), grounding, emotional processing, confidence-building, and transition-easing mudras, as well as four new Yoga Nidras for the Kleshas. These guided meditations explore the obstacles to spiritual progress outlined in the Yoga Sutras and include building self-knowledge (avidya), understanding attraction & aversion (raga & dvesha), quelling the ego (asmita), and overcoming fear (abinidvesha). This is my most deep exploration of how yoga philosophy and practice can help us in modern times!
