This weekend will include Yoga Therapeutic applications for people with cancer and how practices such as asana, pranayama, mudra, and yoga nidra can assist with strengthening the immune system and counteracting the side effects from common cancer treatments. Yoga applications to reduce the impact of the stress of diagnosis, ease side effects from treatments and promote a sense of well-being through the healing process.
The full weekend intensive is designed for yoga teachers or students with a serious yoga practice and background. In an Open Sunday Workshop with the public, we will apply what we have learned and explore some of the essential elements of the weekend material.
