Philosophy & Practices of Yoga

This ten-week series explores how the ancient philosophy of yoga sheds light on our modern experiences. Each week, we'll focus on a specific limb of yoga from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, such as posture (asana), gesture (mudra), breath control (pranayama), sense withdrawal (pratyahara), focus (dharana), meditation (dhyana), and Yoga Nidra. By engaging in both physical and subtle practices, participants will see how dedicated practice can strengthen the mind-body connection and promote physical comfort, mental tranquility, compassion, and deep self-awareness.
