Chair Yoga

Have you always wanted to practice yoga but felt intimidated by its portrayal in the media? Have you thought, “I could never do yoga,” yet wished you could? If you've found beginner classes too overwhelming, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Join Cheryl Fenner Brown, an integrative yoga therapist with over 20 years of experience teaching those over 60. In this class, you’ll learn gentle, effective chair yoga, empowering you to embrace its benefits. You'll build body awareness, improve balance, enhance confidence, and boost strength and flexibility, with most of the session focusing on seated yoga and gentle standing movements. Cheryl's clear instructions and demonstrations make it accessible for everyone, with gentle hands-on support when needed. 

Each week, we will work through a simple repeated warm-up to mobilize the joints, then focus on specific poses and body areas. You will come away with the knowledge to practice Chair Yoga at home.
