Yoga Nidra is a deeply healing tantric practice of guided relaxation that reduces stress and promotes healing. You are guided through different stages of relaxation including setting a sankalpa, body awareness, breath awareness, the experience of dualities, and image visualization. Relax into a state of witnessing, without judgment, accepting whatever arises in the breath, body and mind. You will find a calm and centered place where the stressors of the day fall away; you relax into peaceful mindfulness where your natural healing ability is strengthened.
These meditations are specifically designed for those in need of healing. Through my work with cancer patients, I have seen the remarkable healing effects of Yoga Nidra practice. Anyone can practice this technique at home; even those in intense pain can listen to these meditations and learn to relate to their pain and illness in a more mindful way.
