CHAIR YOGA:

chairChair Yoga is a wonderful way for everyone to experience the benefits of yoga. The poses are done while you sit in a chair so the pelvis and hips are stabilized, enabling easier movement of the torso and arms.  From this stable seat, modifications of many common yoga poses can be done without fear of injury or strain. These poses can bring mobility to all parts of the body in a safe and gentle way, help to clear the mind, and relax the body.

The Chair Yoga session takes about one hour to complete and can be done at work, at home, or even on an airplane. Follow the instructions and photos at your desk, or Download Chair Yoga Sequence to take with you.

Corporate Meetings:

Often corporations schedule day-long events and wish to bring people in to promote relaxation and team-building. For your next meeting, consider scheduling a 30 or 60 minute Chair Yoga session.  The session will enable your employees to relax, stretch their bodies, and learn techniques that can be used at their desks to increase mental focus, reduce pain caused by sitting in front of a computer, and promote relaxation.

All you need is a chair for each participant and space at a conference table. I will travel to your site, teach the session, and provide the participants with handouts that they can then take back to their desks to refer to when they need a yoga break throughout their day.
